Dana Baboe

Clinical Integrative Therapist

Online in Liverpool, UK & worldwide

Hi,I'm Dana

And I’m here as a result of my own mental health journey. I’ve been where many of the people I work with are: drowning in anxiety,  avoiding, overthinking, feeling more confused than safe in relationships, never feeling good enough AND trying to hold everything together.

I know what it’s like to feel trapped by your own mind, to wonder why you can’t just live a normal life like everyone else, or to keep repeating behaviours you can’t seem to get rid of no matter how much you try.

Therapy changed the way I relate to myself and the world, and I found that it often comes back to one thing: how we feel about ourselves and the world and how that plays out in our lives and connection with others.

Why Integrative Therapy?

I am a firm believer that everything that we consume, listen to and interact with during our life can have an influence on how we think, what we believe, how we behave, and how we feel about ourselves and the world.

Everyone’s life is nuanced and unique, so I don’t believe that one therapeutic approach fits everyone who enters my door, in every stage they’re at. That’s why I work integratively, drawing from Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy depending on what you need and where you’re at.

Some things respond to understanding, other things need to be faced, and some things need to be reached in ways that talking alone can’t get to.

A client first

Before I trained to be a therapist, I sat in the client’s chair. I understand how scary it can feel to start therapy, what it’s like to feel unsure, to question whether therapy will even work for you or to worry about being judged. My role is to be the person in your corner who gets it and supports you every step of the way at your pace, without pressure or judgement, so that you feel safe to talk about what makes life difficult for you.

Your therapist

My approach is integrative, shaped by you, your pace, and your goals.

I’m honest, warm, down to earth and believe that change starts in an environment where you feel safe enough to be yourself, and accepted just as you are, and this is the kind of environment that I aim to provide.

If you think I’ll be able to help you, book an introductory call and let’s have a chat about where you are and what you need.

My credentials

Qualified Therapist accredited with the CNHC, UKCP trainee member

Integrative training, Hypnotherapy and psychotherapeutic approaches.

Fully insured and supervised in line with professional standards

I adhere to the CNHC and NSTT Code of Conduct, Ethics and Performance, which means I practise safely, respectfully, and with clear professional boundaries at all times.

Testimonials

In line with NSTT ethical guidance, I do not use client testimonials.

The therapeutic relationship involves an inherent power imbalance, and I want to ensure that no client feels pressured to evaluate their experience or share personal details publicly.

Therapy is also a deeply individual process, and each person’s experience will be unique, shaped by their own history, needs, and pace. For this reason, testimonials are not a reliable reflection of what your own therapeutic journey might look like.

Instead, I focus on being transparent about how I work, my training, and the values that guide my practice, so you can decide whether working together feels right for you.
