Therapy for Anxiety, OCD, Fears

...& the life built around them

build trust in yourself to regain your freedom

Fear isn’t always obvious, sometimes it looks like overthinking, never feeling good enough, never feeling safe in relationships, going quiet when you actually want to speak up, compulsive behaviour or pushing through everything until you’ve got nothing left, until your life just becomes… exhausting.

Dana Baboe Online Anxiety Therapist Liverpool UK Psychotherapy Hypnotherapy online therapy

Most people come to therapy thinking something is wrong with them, when actually fear has just taken over. And it usually shows up in what you feel, how you relate, what you believe about yourself, and how you cope.

What I work with

What we can do together...

Together we get to what’s actually driving your difficulties, so you can build confidence, show up differently in your relationships, get through a day without your body going into overdrive, and get back to a life that feels like yours.

How we get there

Being heard, understood, and finally making sense of yourself matters a lot. But insight on its own is not enough if the behaviour doesn’t follow.

Insight matters.
So does change.

Where understanding meets action

What sessions are like

I work in a person-centred, outcome oriented and solution focused way, which means our work is centred around you and what you want to get out of therapy.

Every person who reaches out brings a different story, pace, and way of coping. No matter what you share, you will always be accepted for who you are and where you are at. My role is to meet you there and help you move forward.

My space is warm, honest, and grounded, and I’ll believe in you until you’re able to feel it yourself.

Sessions are collaborative, and focused on:

Awareness

Understanding what's keeping you stuck and where you want to be

Individuality

Putting together an approach that suits you

Action

Working towards changes that last beyond our sessions

One approach doesn't fit everyone

Depending on what you are dealing with and what you need, I draw from several psychotherapeutic approaches with a focus on ACT and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) which are the best-researched approaches for anxiety and OCD.

This means our work adapts to you and not the other way around to create the most effective path through what you’re dealing with, not just what works on paper.

I work around you

I work with clients in Liverpool, UK, and online all over the world, offering flexible appointments to fit around your life.

There’s no set number of sessions that works for everyone, how long we work together depends on your goals, circumstances, and what you want to get out of therapy.

I’ll always check in about how you’re finding the sessions and adjust things as we go, so our work stays helpful and focused.
