"The purpose of therapy is to set people free."

(May, 1981)

Welcome! You are in the right place.

Living with anxiety often means trying to make sense of it – why it’s there, why it won’t go away.

What’s harder is knowing how to stop organising your life around it.

I work primarily with people who experience anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias, especially when fear has started to limit everyday life: avoiding places, situations, sensations, or decisions “just in case.”  Usually people feel frustrated by how powerful anxiety has become despite understanding it logically. Therapy focuses on rebuilding a sense of internal safety, reducing avoidance, and helping you regain trust in yourself.

My approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based therapy. We don’t just talk about anxiety, we work with how it shows up in your body, your thoughts, and your behaviour, and change the patterns that keep it going.

Alongside anxiety and phobias, I also work with related difficulties such as low mood, life transitions, self-esteem and relationship issues, particularly where anxiety plays a central role.

You don’t need to have it all figured out, just a willingness to show up as you are.

If you are wondering whether I could work with what you are going through, you can read more on my How I Can Support You page.

Let’s have a chat about where you are and what you might need next.

I’m so glad you’ve found your way here!

Hi, I’m Dana, and I’m really glad you’re here.

I am the owner of D Therapy Hub,  a CNHC accredited and UKCP registered clinical hypnotherapist with psychotherapeutic training. I offer a calm, down-to-earth space to explore what’s been getting in the way, especially when anxiety, overthinking, or constantly feeling on edge has started to shape how you live your life.

Whether you’ve reached a breaking point or just know something isn’t working anymore, therapy is a place where you don’t have to hold it all together. We focus on understanding what’s been happening and finding ways forward that feel realistic and sustainable.

Part of my role is to help you discover what becomes possible again, even when anxiety says otherwise.

My approach

I work in a person-centred, outcome oriented and integrative way, which means our work starts with you.

Every person who reaches out brings a different story, pace, and way of coping, and my role is to meet you where you are and help you reconnect with your own capacity for change.

Sessions are collaborative, paced around your needs, and focused on understanding why you react the way you do, both mentally and in the body, but more on supporting changes that help things feel more manageable in everyday life.

As you begin to make sense of these layers, confidence and self-trust grow naturally.

I’m a firm believer that most people already know what they need to do. They just need help putting it into action.

Depending on what you need in the moment, our work may include exploration, grounding, or guided awareness. You can read more about how I work on my How I Can Support you page, and on my About page.

I believe real progress happens in a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood.

If what you’ve read resonates, I’d love to hear from you. You can book a short call or send a message,  for a conversation about what you need and how we can work together. Additionally, you can find answers to common questions, including myths about therapy and hypnosis, as well as responses to some of the most frequent worries people have before starting therapy, on my FAQ page.
